Each year, T-DRILL selects a Representative of the Year – one among the dozens of T-DRILL representatives worldwide who has demonstrated special effort, a great attitude, and dedication to their work. This year, the title went to An Duy Nguyễn, who represents T-DRILL in Vietnam, Malaysia, and Singapore.
An Duy Nguyễn, founder of Anh Duong Technical Solution Co. Ltd., has represented T-DRILL since 2018. Known for his big smile and positive attitude, “Andy” earned the title for his can-do spirit, eagerness to support customers, and genuine interest in developing his T-DRILL expertise.
“I have had successes in sales in the past couple of years, but I believe the most important thing is that I bring my enthusiasm and my interest into my work. In terms of turnover, I’m not among T-DRILL’s largest representatives – however, I have positive energy and I’m always willing to help customers. I am also always looking for ways to develop – both myself and, through my customer insight, to contribute to the development of T-DRILL products.”
Understanding the Products You Sell
Andy’s T-DRILL journey began when he was visiting his principal Polysoude in France. Andy observed how, prior to welding, a collar was pulled with a T-DRILL collaring machine. Intrigued, Andy contacted T-DRILL. Before long, he was selling the portable T-65 collaring machine and, eventually, the T-115, the TEC-220, and other T-DRILL products. Last year, Andy reached a milestone of 10 T-115 units sold. His customers are primarily in the HVAC sector, but also in other growing sectors such as the semiconductor industry.
To succeed as a representative, Andy believes it is essential to truly understand the products you sell. He stays up to date on T-DRILL machinery by participating in T-DRILL’s trainings and by actively studying the machines himself, drawing on his background as a software engineer.
“My team and I prefer to know the machines inside out, so we proactively keep learning more. The T-115, for example, I know very well. Once, to replace the machine’s bearing, I had to strip it down to its core — so I’m very familiar with it,” Andy says with a smile. He adds that he sees T-DRILL’s marketing efforts as another key factor in his success:
“Even though we can’t be physically present in every corner of the world, T-DRILL’s marketing team succeeds in spreading the word about the unique technology. It supports our work as representatives.”

When asked what he enjoys most about representing T-DRILL, Andy’s answer is straightforward: T-DRILL’s collaring method is the best in the world.
“In some applications, the precision and quality of manifold forming are absolutely critical. The T-DRILL method delivers the best possible solution for these situations. I look forward to seeing new T-DRILL solutions for the semiconductor industry and to presenting T-DRILL at more and more exhibitions in our region.”
