Rohrdurchmesser von 4,76 – 22 mm verschiedener Materialien wie Aluminium, rostfreier Edelstahl und Rohre für Bremsleitungen können mit beiden Methoden getrennt werden sowie gerade Rohre bis zu 28 mm.
Typische Anwendungsbereiche sind die Automobilindustrie, die Wärmetauscherindustrie u. ä., wo gute Schnittqualität und überlegene Produktionsgeschwindigkeit erforderlich sind.
