Earlier this month, T-DRILL hosted its long-standing Sales meeting in Laihia, Finland. The gathering, which combined product training, networking, and – in true T-DRILL fashion – a family-like atmosphere, brought together around 50 T-DRILL representatives from 23 different countries across the globe.

Finland’s early summer weather was at its best as the T-DRILL Sales meeting 2025 kicked off at the company’s headquarters in Laihia on June 9. Around 50 T-DRILL representatives and several partners arrived in Finland for the five-day event. Throughout the week, the program included company and strategy presentations, product training, support for sales through successful customer case studies, and daily social events that offered opportunities to spend time together.

“We want to take good care of our representatives. It’s important for us to help them succeed in their work, but just as important is strengthening our mutual relationships and letting them experience the T-DRILL family feel firsthand. Now that our product portfolio has grown significantly, it felt like the right moment to bring the event back to our calendar”, says T-DRILL’s Director of Sales & Marketing, Jussi Alahuhtala.

Insights Into Company Strategy & Hands-On Machine Experience

One of the key topics T-DRILL wanted to present to its representatives this year was the company’s ambitious strategy for profitable growth: T-DRILL has set a goal to double its turnover. In addition to insights into the company’s development and strategic direction, the program was filled with product information and training sessions. A wide selection of T-DRILL machines was displayed on the shop floor, giving representatives the opportunity to get hands-on experience. During the week, guests also visited T-DRILL’s component factory in Isokyrö.

“It is important that our representatives are made aware of our company strategy and development. Our new welding solutions, among others, attracted a lot of interest. It’s fair to say that our expanding product groups – including solutions for fast-growing sectors such as data centers and the semiconductor and defense industries – were at the center of attention.”

“We Want Participants to Leave with Meaningful Experiences”

Alahuhtala emphasizes that while product knowledge and training are essential, the Sales meeting is about much more. Every day included informal activities such as sauna evenings and live music in beautiful archipelago surroundings. For some of the visitors, this was their first time in Finland.

“We want participants to leave with meaningful experiences and memories – more than just product knowledge. We want them to take home a positive impression of Finland, of Ostrobothnia, and of how we as a Finnish family-owned company operate.”

Feedback collected during the event indicated that T-DRILL achieved its goal:

“Truly informative and educational. Enhanced understanding of product offering. Very good event. Humanity feeling.”

The T-DRILL Sales meeting 2025 was held in Laihia, Finland, on June 9–13. Following the success of this long-anticipated event, T-DRILL plans to host it on a regular basis moving forward.
