Technical support

T-DRILL technical support engineers have years of experience in T-DRILL machines and methods. They are glad to help you with your problems and to solve them quickly.

Based on your situation and identified issues, we have support with our automation and mechanical specialists. If you have TD-Remote Support on your machine, we can solve or identify some issues remotely, in most cases we don’t need to travel to your facility.

Commissioning and training

Whether you are buying a new T-DRILL machine, or you already own one, you want your staff to be self-sufficient and effective with it. You may want to train a new machine operator or update one’s knowledge.

T-DRILL can support you with multi-skilled, international field service engineers that will help you to get the maximum use of the machine and manufacturing technology. We are proud of our service engineers that work in close cooperation with product specialists at T-DRILL enabled companies.

Training ensures that operators know how to use their machines correctly and efficiently, thus minimizing operating costs.

During operator training, the customer will learn valuable information about machine maintenance and servicing needs. Training will be tailored to respond to customer expectations and needs. The training can be combined with annual maintenance once the Service engineer is on-site.

Training can be arranged at your facilities, T-DRILL factory in Laihia or T-DRILL USA in Atlanta. We also provide training remotely over IP which decreases the costs dramatically.

Training includes:

  • Settings of the tools used with the machine
  • Operations of the machine
  • Instructions how to best use the machine to improve productivity and quality
  • Features of the spare parts list
  • Preventive maintenance of the machine and tools

Field service

Our multi-skilled field service engineers are available to help you globally.

Services will be done in your facilities, to be as easy as possible for you. We offer an extensive range of services from condition and safety inspection to complete machine reconditioning.

We aim to help you to achieve your production goals and a high level of equipment uptime. Increased automation level, just-in-time production, and companies‘ focus on their core competencies have made preventive maintenance even more important.

Typically, we reserve an appointment for the next maintenance while we are inspecting the machine to avoid unexpected production interruptions.
After every service, we will provide you a comprehensive service report based on services that have been made.

Service in T-DRILL factory

Some of T-DRILL’s products are fairly easy to move and larger-scale services can be performed in our facilities – T-DRILL factory in Laihia, Finland or Atlanta, USA.

The machine can be shipped to the T-DRILL factory, where all the agreed actions will be performed. In that case, there will not be any incurred costs from traveling. After the service, the machine will be shipped back to the customer’s facility. Typical services that are performed in the T-DRILL factory are modernizations and major reconditioning of machines.

Temporary replacement units are available to keep your production running while your machine is under maintenance.

Modernizations

Extend the machine lifetime with modernization

Replacing existing machinery with a new one is often not the only possibility there is. T-DRILL offers modernization solutions for hard- and software, drives, control, and mechanism for all types of T-DRILL products.

When well maintained, machines are usually mechanically in fair condition even after decades of use. However, electrical components are more delicate and evolving to achieve more energy-efficient solutions. We offer electrical update packages even for our legacy models. With these packages, you can continue using your current machine and tools with an updated control system.

The modernizations will increase the lifetime of the machine significantly. Also, spare part availability will be guaranteed for the coming years.

Modernization can be performed at the customer facility or it can be shipped to T-DRILL. You can also ask for a replacement machine from us to keep your production running while your machine is under maintenance.

We have modernizations available for most of the older machines. Modernization enables accessories from the current products to be used in older models.

Spare parts

To ensure the reliability of the T-DRILL machine, we suggest you to use original spare parts.

Fit and functionality of original spare parts are always correct, which ensures fast installation and flawless function. This makes original parts also competitive and the best options for the machine lifecycle. We have all the critical spare parts stored in the T-DRILL warehouse, so most of them can be sent within 24 hours from our factory to our customers all over the world.

TD-Remote Support

To achieve the highest possible productivity level, the machine needs to remain in production. It is important to get a possible malfunction solved to limit machine downtime.

With TD-Remote Support, T-DRILL can connect to the machine in case of sudden needs for support, training etc. Our goal is that there will be no need for a service engineer visit.
