Information sources
The job seeker enters their personal information into the job application or open application, and it is stored in the recruitment system. In addition, interviewers participating in the recruitment process can store information about themselves in the system during possible job interviews.
With the applicant’s consent, T-Drill Oy may obtain information from other sources, such as recommenders or authorities. In addition, with the applicant’s consent, a suitability assessment may be commissioned. If necessary, we also use recruitment consultants as a source of information.
By submitting a job application, the job seeker gives permission to collect their information from the profile they have published for professional purposes to the extent that the collection of information is necessary in relation to recruitment and is related to job performance.
Data protection content of the register
The following information is processed in the register:
- Name and contact information, date of birth
- Education and work experience information (educational institutions, degrees, previous jobs)
- Wishes for future work
- Hobbies and other activities declared by the applicant
- Other information provided by the applicant in their application or its attachments
- Possible suitability assessment
Disclosure of personal data
Personal data will not be disclosed to external parties, with the exception of possible recruitment consultants and expert parties preparing personnel assessments. Personal data will be disclosed to authorities within the limits permitted and required by applicable legislation.
Transfer of personal data to a third country
Personal data is not transferred outside the territory of the European Union member states or the European Economic Area.
Data protection and retention
Only our employees who have the right to process job applicants’ personal data are entitled to use the databases containing them. The register is protected by necessary technical and organizational measures. The data is collected in databases that are protected by a username, password, firewall and other technical means. The persons processing the data are bound by confidentiality regarding the information they receive. The databases and their backups are located in locked premises and only certain pre-designated persons have access to the data. The register does not involve automated decision-making, such as profiling.
We retain personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of using the personal data. The data may be used for up to one year for job searching. The data will be destroyed within two years.
Data subject rights
The data subject has the right to inspect the information stored in the personal register concerning him/her and the right to demand the correction of incorrect information and the deletion of information. You also have the right to withdraw your consent if the processing of your data is based on consent. Requests regarding this matter should be submitted in person or in writing to the contact person mentioned above.
As a data subject, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data within the limits required by law or to request restriction of the processing of your data, as well as to file a complaint about the processing of personal data with a supervisory authority.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
T-Drill Oy may make changes to this privacy policy and related information.
