During the past two years, data centers and other rising industries have rapidly expanded T-DRILL’s operations. In 2025, the T-DRILL group reached a record turnover of €30 million – the highest in its history – and this record is already set to be broken this year.
The Standard Method in the U.S.
In the data center industry, T-DRILL’s collaring and flanging methods are used in the manufacture of pipelines and manifolds for cooling systems. The core strength of T-DRILL’s methods in this industry is their speed: manufacturing time for manifolds is reduced to just one-third of the time required with traditional methods. In the United States, T-DRILL technologies have already become an industry standard.

Export Manager Iiro Panula continues: “It all started in 2024, when our methods were concept-tested for a customer in the United States. When one manufacturer found an efficient solution, others soon followed.”
Advanced Technologies and New Product Launches Drive Growth in Quality-Critical Industries
In addition to the data center industry, T-DRILL technologies are also gaining popularity among manufacturers in the semiconductor, chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. For these sectors, T-DRILL develops and launches new machines for collaring, welding, and cutting pipes for so-called high-purity applications, where strict cleanliness and purity requirements must be met. T-DRILL’s growth has also been positively impacted by investments in the defense and energy industries.
Behind T-DRILL’s rising popularity are not only the company’s advanced flanging and collaring technologies, but also the recently launched T-InWeld welding machine, which revolutionizes pipe and tube welding. New product launches are also on the horizon.

Delivery Reliability Secured Through Investments in Personnel, Machinery, Facilities, and Continuous Improvement
To secure its capacity and delivery reliability, T-DRILL has just commissioned a brand-new assembly factory in Laihia, Finland. The new facility doubles T-DRILL’s assembly space. With this addition, T-DRILL now operates in five locations: two in Laihia, one in Seinäjoki, one in Isokyrö, and one in the United States.
T-DRILL’s personnel has already grown by 30 employees this year, and new positions are regularly being opened. At its machining facility in Isokyrö, T-DRILL has recently invested €1 million in two new Mazak multi-tasking machines.
In April, T-DRILL launched a KAIZEN™ development project, which will continue through the end of the year. During the project, processes and ways of working are being developed across key areas of the business. The primary goals of the project and recent investments are to halve delivery times, double the company’s capacity, and further improve product quality.

The employment impact of the data center industry and other growing customer industries has been felt not only at T-DRILL, but also throughout its network – including partners, stakeholders, suppliers, the companies involved in constructing the new facility and their supplier networks, as well as the manufacturers and importers of newly acquired production machinery.
